Running camp is not cheap, despite our frugal nature and upcycle ethos. More than 85% of our budget comes from summer tuition, which doesn’t fully cover costs and is supplemented by donations and grants in the best of times.

The financial impact of not opening this summer will be significant, and we are working hard to raise funds to keep camp viable. We are grateful to those families who have already pledged to support us, including the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, UJA and our Board of Directors, who have created a pool of matching funds for every dollar people transform from tuition into donation.

While we won’t be having camp this summer, we’re still investing in being an active member of our community. Our small farm team is hard at work growing food for our local food pantries. Our food pantry partner is currently serving five times more families per week than what is typical, and we’ve pledged to support them all season with fresh, healthy produce. We are donating 100% of our farm’s production this season.

We are deeply committed to keeping camp viable through Summer 2021 and continuing to grow food in the meantime. Your support at this time will be instrumental.
