After the immense success of our Food & Farm Road Trip for rising 10th graders, we were just awarded additional funding to expand the ideas and values of that trip. This summer, we’re thrilled to pilot a brand new program for rising 9th graders: Food & Farm Road Trip: Project Pizza!
You heard us correctly - we’re taking our amazing Eden Village pizza on the road as we spread our values of Jewish environmentalism through eating healthy, organic, locally sourced, hand made, delicious food. We’ll be traveling across the Northeast to give back to our local communities in a dynamic, innovative teen program.

What is it?
Our Food & Farm Road Trip: Project Pizza is a one-of-a-kind teen travel program that pulls participants behind the curtain of the food system to get hands on experience making and selling organic, locally sourced, hand made pizza!
The Food and Farm Road Trip: Project Pizza is heading out into the community to get involved, give back, and participate first hand in the local food system by making and selling hand-crafted, organic, farm to table pizza. Participants will dive deep into all aspects of making pizza: spending time with our very own Chef Tom learning how to make sauce, perfecting the art of the pizza dough with a baker, and learning from local cheese artisans to make their own mozzarella. After mastering the craft, the group will head out into the world, visiting a couple of cities in the northeast, to harvest local ingredients, make hand crafted pizza, and give back to the community.
