Week 1: Participants will spend the first week building community and learning the skills needed to successfully put on a pop-up pizza kitchen on the road! In addition to participating in many of the familiar camp activities, they will:
- Visit a local dairy farm
- Learn how to make organic cheese
- Spend an afternoon with our baker learning how to make the perfect pizza dough
- Learn about the art of sauce from our very own Chef Tom
Week 2: After spending their first Shabbat immersed in the camp community, teens will hit the road and head to Philadelphia and Upstate New York. Participants will dive into the local food culture and set up their own pop-up pizza kitchen to both sell and donate handmade organic pizza to the local community!
